Adam brings three years of previous experience to the General Chair position. He has previously served as a member of Team Lincoln/Mercury, captain of Team Lincoln, and Logistics Chairperson. Adam is the son of Joe and Renee LaFurgey of Grand Rapids, Michigan and is a graduate of Forest Hills Central High School. He is currently a junior and is pursuing a dual major in Automotive Marketing and Finance. At Northwood, Adam is involved in The Automotive Group (TAG), the Finance Association of Northwood University (FANU) and DECA. Upon graduation, Adam hopes to work in some aspect of the automotive industry and become an entrepreneur.
Justin Edgar brings three years of previous experience to the executive board. He has previously been a member and a captain of Team Chevrolet and also served as the European Chairperson. Justin is the son of Jeff and Julie Edgar of Rochester Hills, Michigan. He graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory High School where he played golf for three years. Justin is currently a junior at Northwood University where he is pursuing a major in Automotive Marketing and Management. He also serves as the president of The Automotive Group (TAG) at Northwood University. Upon graduation, Justin hopes to open multiple dealerships as president and operator.
Ryan is the son of Greg and Cindi Cole of Athens, Georgia. He is a graduate of North Oconee High School where he played basketball and football and ran track. Ryan is currently a sophomore at Northwood University pursuing a major in automotive marketing and management. His previous Auto Show experience includes being a team member of Team GMC and Captain of Team Hyundai. At Northwood, Rob serves as the president of the Ski Club, events chairperson of The Automotive Group (TAG), and President of the Intercultural Club of Northwood. Upon graduation, Ryan hopes to work for GM and eventually own his own dealership.
Kristin Hammond is the daughter of Andy and Vicki Hammond of Alma, Michigan, where she graduated from Alma High School. Kristin is currently a junior at Northwood pursuing a major in Entertainment, Sport, and Promotions Management. She is currently the Communications chair for the Entertainment, Sport, and Promotions Management Association (ESPMA) and a member of BPA. She brings two years of past auto show experience to the board as a member of Team Watersports and Team Chevrolet. Upon graduation Kristin plans to attend the DeVos Graduate School of Management and pursue a career in Facility Management or work in Community Relations.
Ryan McColgan is the son of Roy and Helen McColgan of Saginaw, Michigan. Ryan is a graduate of Nouvel Catholic Central High School where he played golf. He is currently a junior at Northwood where he plays golf and is pursuing a major in Automotive Marketing. Ryan brings three years of previous experience to the executive board. He has previously served as a member of Team Acura, and Captain of Team Acura and Team Porsche. As captain, Ryan won the award for Best Walk Around in both the Asian and European divisions. Upon graduation Ryan hopes to become a car dealer or work for a vehicle service contract company.
Gabrielle Doman, daughter of Jim Doman and Jane Shaddeau-Hess, is a graduate of Sparta High School in Sparta, Michigan. Gabrielle is currently a junior at Northwood University where she is pursuing a major in Accounting. She brings two years of past auto show experience to the board as a member of Team Chevrolet and Team Case IH. Gabrielle is also involved in HASNU, Big Brothers Big Sisters and is a tutor. Upon graduation Gabrielle hopes to complete her CPA exam and work at an accounting firm in the Grand Rapids area.
Devon Corby is the daughter of Daniel and Patricia Corby of Plymouth, Michigan. Devon is a graduate of Ladywood High School where she was the Captain of both the varsity Lacrosse and Ski teams. As a sophomore at Northwood University, Devon is pursuing a major in Entertainment and Sports Promotion Management and Advertising and is a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. She brings two previous years of auto show experience to the board. In 2011 she was a member of Team SRT and in 2012 she was the Fundraising Chairperson. Devon plans to graduate in May of 2015.
Alicia is the granddaughter of Leroy and Betty Laeder of Midland, Michigan where she graduated from H.H. Dow High School. Alicia is currently a sophomore at Northwood pursuing a degree in Automotive Aftermarket Management. Alicia brings four years of auto show experience to the board, serving on the Junior Executive Board for two years while in high school. She has also served as captain of Team Alternative Fuel, and on the executive board as the Special Projects Chairperson in 2012. Following graduation, Alicia hopes to experience all that the automotive aftermarket field has to offer.
David Thurlow is the son of Mike and Krista Thurlow of Freeland, Michigan. He is a graduate of Freeland High School where he played varsity hockey and soccer. David is currently a junior at Northwood University where he is pursuing a major in Automotive Marketing. His previous auto show experience includes being a member of Team Classic Car, co-captain of Team International and Captain of Team Auto Trader. David is a youth board member of the Just for Kids Foundation, a Maier and Associates Charitable Foundation. Upon graduation David hopes to travel and continue his education in heavy equipment operation and earn his Commercial Driver's License.
Robert Dumm is the son of Bob and Jane Dumm of Fraser, MI. He is a graduate of Fraser High School where he played varsity tennis. Robert is currently a sophomore at Northwood where he is pursuing a dual major in Accounting and Finance. Robert brings two years of previous auto show experience to the board as both member and Captain of Team Lincoln. At Northwood, Robert is a resident assistant, plays lacrosse, and works for STT security as a student employee for Northwood. Upon graduation, Robert hopes to move to New York and get some experience in the finance and accounting field. He hopes to one-day return to Michigan to be with family and hold a career until his retirement.
Emily Devantier is the daughter of Don and Maureen Devantier of Washington, Michigan. Emily Graduated from Lutheran High School North where she played varsity golf all four years. As a senior at Northwood University, she brings three previous years of auto show experience to the executive board. She was a member of Team Chevrolet as well as a Captain of Team SAAB and Team Honda. Emily is an Automotive Marketing and Management major and is involved in The Automotive Group (TAG) at Northwood University. She enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and learning about finance and the stock market. Upon graduation, Emily will be pursuing a career with General Motors or working for Time Auto Transport.
Hayley Dahl is the daughter of Scott and Jami Dahl of Midland, Michigan. She is a graduate of Midland High School where she played tennis. She brings two years of experience to the executive board as both a member and Captain of Team Audi, which won Best Product Knowledge in 2012. Hayley is currently a senior at Northwood University where she is pursuing a major in Advertising and Marketing. She is also an executive board member of the American Advertising Federation. Upon graduation Hayley hopes to work in an advertising agency or in automotive marketing.
Michael is the son of Mike and Ilene Robins of Highland, Michigan. He is a graduate of Milford High School where he showed an interest in the automotive field. Mike is a senior at Northwood where he is pursuing a major in Automotive Aftermarket Management and a minor in Advertising and Marketing. He brings two previous years of experience to the board as a member of Team SVT and Captain of Team Roush Performance. At Northwood, Mike is involved in The Automotive Group (TAG), and was an award presenter for the 2012 Northwood University Management Education Awards conference at the AAPEX show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Upon graduation Mike hopes to attain a career in the aftermarket performance industry while separately working to develop a real estate/property management company.
Chelsea brings three years of auto show experience to our board this year. In 2010 she was a member of Team Mitsubishi. She has also served on the executive board in 2011 as the Chief Financial Officer and Co-Fundraising Chair and in 2012 as the Chief Financial Officer and VIP Panel Chairperson. Chelsea is the daughter of Wes and Kathy Shartle of Adrian, Michigan. She is a graduate of Tecumseh High School where she was involved in swimming and several other clubs where she accumulated 638 volunteer hours. At Northwood, Chelsea is president of the Student Government Association, Student coordinator for Northwood University's Housing and Residence Life department, Treasurer of the Business Professionals of America club, and a member of the Student Honors Association and the Student-Alumni Network. Upon graduation Chelsea plans to pursue an occupation where she is passionate about what she is doing and who she is working for.
