The Northwood University athletic department placed a total of 100 student-athletes on the GLIAC All-Academic and All-Academic Excellence teams.
This is the highest number of student-athletes in one season that Northwood has ever put on the All-Academic teams. Student-athletes must be active members on the roster at the end of the season—this excludes freshman and first year transfer students. All-Academic Teams are comprised of student-athletes that meet this criterion and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. Northwood placed 50 student-athletes on both the All-Academic Team and the All-Academic Excellence teams.
