Alumni in Action – Texas

The Fort Worth Program Center staff and faculty hosted a commencement celebration dinner at the Botanic Gardens Conservatory for the 2016 graduating class of 47 students. The event featured keynote speaker Capt. Mike Steffen, Commanding Officer, Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base (JRB), and had a record attendance of 120 alumni and friends. Also in attendance were Dr. Terry Silva, Academic Dean, and Mike Anguiano, Director of Military Operations. The Fort Worth Program Center, a military friendly institution of higher learning, has been located on the Naval Air Station JRB for more than 30 years.


The Northwood Texas Alumni Group hosted a Career Transition seminar with Northwood career coach Beth Bryce in Arlington on July 28. Later that evening, 56 Northwood alumni and friends hosted “Northwood Night” in a suite at the Texas Rangers game.
