Making Resolutions

Happy New Year! Welcome back to all of our faculty and staff. I hope the current frigid temperatures in Midland haven’t dampened your excitement, we have a very busy spring 2018 semester to kick-off soon when students return.

The New Year is for many a time to make resolutions for the year ahead. If you’re looking for ways to apply a resolution here at Northwood, I invite you to read the latest NUQIP Now blog post “Make continuous improvement at Northwood your New Year’s resolution.” If your resolution is more in line with most people this time of year, I can attest there are very few students in Hach gym before 6 a.m.!

Resolutions aside, I look forward to making 2018 a great year for Northwood University. In just a couple weeks we will welcome students into the newly-renovated Robert Plaster Center for Free-Enterprise. This beautiful facility will be a buzzing academic building for classes, faculty offices and our research think-tank, the McNair Center for the Advancement of Free-Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. You can also see some of the latest economic work coming from our McNair Center in this week’s Detroit News.

The Plaster Center will be a hub of innovation, and has an exciting future ahead, as does our university. Let’s make 2018 a great year!

Enjoy your weekend,

Keith
