Meet DECA Michigan Collegiate President

 

We caught up with Michigan Collegiate President, Allison Brown and asked her what she like most about DECA. This is what she had to say.

How many years have you been in DECA?

Seven

What campus organizations are you involved in apart from DECA

Tau Kappa Epsilon, President for Alpha Gamma Delta

What do you hope to accomplish in DECA during the 2017-18 school year?

This next year I hope to promote growth within our chapter as well as encourage our members to get out of their comfort zone and expand their individual networks.

Why do you think it is important to be involved in groups like DECA at Northwood?

I think it is very important to join these organizations on campus and get involved in leadership because it helps you to gain experience and expand your personal network.

What has been the highlight of your DECA career so far?

The highlight of my DECA career was becoming the MI Collegiate DECA State President. I love working with the different chapters and the other state officers.

What is your favorite part about DECA?

My favorite part about DECA is meeting people from all over the globe and using the competitions to challenge myself in the business setting. I am looking forward to a limitless year in DECA!
