Meet the Executive Panel Chair
Nicholas Krett is the 54th Northwood University International Auto Show’s Executive Panel Chair. His hometown is Shelby Township, Michigan. He is a freshman here at Northwood University studying Automotive Marketing & Management. He participates in Northwood Band, Collegiate DECA, and the Northwood Fishing Club. Currently he owns a personal car detailing business that he started in 2012. Last year, he participated in the Northwood University International Auto Show by joining team Chevy. General Motors and more specifically, Chevy is his favorite car brand.
He hopes to bring more and more leaders of the automotive industry to the Northwood Auto Show and help educate both guests and students on various aspects of the auto industry. He wants to grow Northwood’s Auto Show to new lengths and create an environment of learning for both students and adults of all fields. The show is an opportunity to show what people can accomplish together with the help of each other and he find that to be a fundamental key to why the show is so successful. He hopes to bring new faces to the Executive Panel of the NUIAS and wants to bring more interaction between students and members of the field. He wants to have more students present during the panel and create more opportunities for students to gain crucial information and opinions about the automotive industry. Northwood promotes students to learn and grow in the industry by using both classroom and real-life experience to understand the industry. The auto show is a great step to gain that one-of-a-kind experience.
One memory of the Northwood Auto Show that he has is the initial set-up. Honestly, it doesn’t seem like much of a memory, but to see all five hundred of those cars finally roll into place, that was when reality finally setting in. The largest student run auto show in North America was finally about to begin.
