Meet Classic Car Show Chair
Jameson Brickner is the Classic Car Chair for the 2017 NUIAS. He is a Junior at Northwood University and will be graduating in the fall of 2017. Jameson is from Merrill Wisconsin, a small town of 10,000 in the North Central region. Here at Northwood he is majoring in Automotive Marketing Management. Along with the Auto Show Executive Board Jameson is in the Automotive Aftermarket Club as the Auto Show representative. He loves cars and his passion lies in classic cars. Over the summer he attends as many classic car shows as possible and he loves to learn more about the automotive industry’s past. Jameson has a classic car of his own, a 1947 Chrysler New Yorker. He stated, the New Yorker has been in his family for two generations and he is the third generation of Brickner to own the vehicle. The Car was originally sold at his great grandpas Chrysler Plymouth dealership in the late 1940’s and his grandpa bought the vehicle when it was traded in a few years later and it has stayed in the family ever since. As Classic Car Chair for the 2016 show he got approximately 80 classic cars in attendance Sunday of the Auto Show and he plans to increase that number for next year. New to Northwood will be a Spring Classic Car show on April 22nd 2017. The spring show is labeled as the Otis Wilson Memorial Classic Car Show and it will be the first scheduled classic car show for the season.
