Meet the Fundraising Chair – Kevin Nelson
Kevin Nelson, originally from Garden City, MI, is currently a junior at Northwood University working to obtain a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing and Management. As well as being a part of this year’s NUIAS Executive Board, Kevin is involved in many student organizations. This year, Kevin is a member of the Signature Events Team and Student Alumni Network where he has been actively pursuing opportunities to develop relationships with alumni and friends of the university that are established within the business world. Kevin, this year, holds a position on the NU Style Show Executive Board, serving as the Vice Chair of Financial Development. In addition to this, he is also the President and founder of the Student Philanthropy Council.
Kevin takes part in the auto show every year because of how this extraordinary event only continues to grow each and every year and being able to participate in North America’s largest new car outdoor auto show is just one of the many amazing opportunities given to students at Northwood. Kevin hopes to be an effective member of this year’s executive board by assisting in growing this year’s show and obtaining new relationships with companies, dealerships and individuals that aren’t affiliated with Northwood yet.
One of his favorite memories from Auto Show was being co-captain of Team Honda with a team full of some of his closest friends. They were able to put on a great display and have a great time meeting new people and sharing our knowledge and passion for the brand, and for Northwood!
