NUIAS Must-See List
There are a lot of things to do at the largest outdoor new-car auto show in North America. To make things easier, here is a list of what to see and do this weekend.
Classic Car Show:
Come see classic cars from around the state of Michigan in our Hach/Bennett Parking Lot, Saturday from 9:00am – 1:00pm. Registration is free and goodie bags will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Woody’s Taproom is a Northwood University Alumni & Friends tent party held during auto show/homecoming weekend. New this year: The downtown Midland streetscape has been renovated to become a more pedestrian and festival friendly environment. Woody’s Taproom has partnered up new Midland event called “Festifall” and will be held in a large party tent installed on Main Street during Saturday evening of auto show weekend.
Live entertainment by Midland native Dave Kellan and Gutbucket
Cash bar by Fabiano Brothers with prices ranging from $2-$5
New Location: Tent on Main Street in downtown Midland
Complimentary shuttle between Woody’s Taproom/Holiday Inn/Spring Hill Suites
Must be 21 to enter
Cover charge at the door is $10 (discount pre-sale tickets will be available online from August 1 to October 1, 2018)
Sunday, October 14th, NUIAS will be providing a limited number of “passports” to children (12 and under). These will encourage younger car enthusiasts to explore the displays and interact with student workers. When done looking through the display and speaking with the students, the passport will be stamped. If, at the end of the show, all of the locations are stamped, a prize will be provided.
These, along with incredible experiences such as an augmented reality display at Chevrolet on Saturday, a visit from popular youtuber HondaProJason, along with over 600 vehicles, you wont want to miss this weekend!
